Decorative Film Depot (DFD) announced the signing of new dealers recently to distribute and install the company’s products. The Rockville, Md.-based company also unveiled a new dealer program designed to attract installation companies nationwide.
The newest of DFD’s dealers include Solar-X, of Sarasota, Fla., and Solar Solutions in Rossville, Ga.

“We needed to expand our decorative film offering to include custom printed materials for storefronts,” says Lyman MacNutt, president of Solar-X of Sarasota. “I felt comfortable that DFD could assist us in offering a product to our commercial prospects that we hadn’t offered before.” MacNutt says he feels DFD’s products will help increase his company’s sales amid difficult times.

Steve Fisher, owner of Solar Solutions, says DFD happened to have what he was searching for. “I was looking for a particular film,” Fisher explains. “Not only did I find the film I was looking for, I found a great company to do business with as well.”

  1. Please send me more informtion.

    Thank you.

  2. I will not pay for a territory. There are competitive products with a higher quality in the market place. Custom design is available at other Decorative Film companies and has been for a few years. This is not a new concept.

  3. EXACTLY! Not a new concept. How can you ask for a fee when the same films are offered by many Decorative Film companies like SOLYX

  4. Sorry to break your bubble Hines and Hopkins, but this is a new concept for selling decorative film. DFD and SOLYX are not apples to apples. It’s not really a discussion over which is better, but what you want from your business partner. Besides getting quality film at great prices, I also want help selling deco films and DFD does that. DFD gives me with a territory that’s mine. They send me customers that are in my territory. DFD also does marketing offline to generate additional leads for my business. These extra benefits are what you get when you become a DFD Dealer and that’s worth it to me.
