Enpro Distributing Receives 2009 Houston Award
July 9th, 2009 by EditorThe U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA) announced recently that Enpro Distributing has been selected for its 2009 Houston Award in the Window Tinting Materials category, marking the second consecutive year that the Houston-based window film distributor has earned this distinction.
The USLBA is a Washington, D.C.-based organization funded by local businesses. Association officials say it was established to recognize the best of local businesses in various communities nationwide. Its Best of Local Business award program recognizes these outstanding local businesses each year.
“We are proud to be honored with such outstanding recognition from the USLBA,” says Chris Weinhardt, Enpro’s marketing director. “As a company, we feel it is extremely important to be active participants in our communities and practice strong business ethics while following our defined core purpose and values.”
The USLBA identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local communities and business categories. Association officials say these are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community. Nationwide, merely one in 70, or 1.4 percent of, 2008 award recipients qualified as 2009 winners. Officials say the 2008 program focused on quality, not quantity.
