Hanita Coatings has named Ronen Scheflan general manager of Hanita Coatings USA Inc., Hanita’s window film distribution arm for North America. In addition, the company has promoted Steve Woods to national sales director of HanitaTek. The changes come as part of a restructuring through which HanitaTek has been placed under the auspices of Hanita Coatings USA Inc., according to a company press release.

Ronen, who is relocating to head Hanita’s U.S. print and industrial films unit after five years managing Hanita’s activities in Europe.

“Ronen’s exceptional marketing and managerial skills match HanitaTek team strengths,” says CEO Oved Shapira.  “One of his first priorities will be familiarizing himself with the American window film market, and understanding the needs of our valued dealer network throughout the U.S.”

Woods has served as key accounts manager for HanitaTek for the last seven years. In his new position, he will be responsible for strategic development, leadership of the national sales team, and overall sales growth throughout North America. Woods will report directly to Ronen Scheflan.

“Placing HanitaTek under the auspices of Hanita Coatings USA Inc. will provide the backbone to support Hanita’s growth in the U.S. market,” adds Shapira. “Restructuring our sales team, and bringing Steve into this new role will drive this sales effort forward, whilst at the same time ensuring that HanitaTek retains its outstanding sales, logistics and service practices.”
