Performance Films Distributing and 44Tools will implement a corporate alignment consistent with what the company says is its overriding goal of providing products and services that increase the sales and profit of their broad customer base. The new structure, effective October 14, 2013, places Dick Austin in the role of dealer development and retail sales manager for both Performance Films Distributing and 44Tools.com, while Jeff Dunn, a distribution operations specialist, will serve as operations manager for both companies.

Austin brings 35 years of window film industry experience to his new role. He has served as manager of retail operations and training since 2008. Prior to joining 44Tools.com, Austin spent a total of 15 years as a manufacturer’s representative for both Madico and LLumar/Vista window films. Preceding his experience as a manufacturer’s representative, he owned and operated tint shops in Florida and Kentucky. Austin attended both Auburn University and the University of South Dakota.

Dunn has worked with Performance Films Distributing for nearly a decade in various capacities including inside sales before being promoted to general manager in 2007. Prior to joining Performance Films, he worked with iconic companies such as Abercrombie & Fitch, BLITZ Distribution (Tony Hawk) and D.N.A. Distribution (Alien Workshop / Habitat Skateboards). From Huntington Beach, Calif., to Dayton, Ohio, it was Dunn’s responsibility to manage the complexities of logistics that kept these iconic brands rolling. He brings vast experience to his new role as operations manager. Dunn attended both Clark State and Mira Costa College.
