Johnson Window Films Earns the Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation

April 2nd, 2014 by Editor

The Skin Cancer Foundation has granted the Seal of Recommendation for all of Johnson Window Films products that block 99 percent or more of harmful UVA and UVB radiation. Johnson has qualifying products in automotive, residential/commercial/architectural, safety and security categories.

President Scott Davidson released this company statement: “Our goal is to help increase awareness and contribute to the public’s safety.”

To earn the Seal of Recommendation, a manufacturer must provide scientific data showing that its product sufficiently and safely “aids in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin.” The submitted data is reviewed by a volunteer committee of photobiologists—experts in the study of the interaction between ultraviolet radiation and the skin. The Seal is a symbol of safe and effective sun protection recognized by consumers worldwide.

  1. If all of the company is going to participate a skin care awareness I am sure they will be receiving same award as the Johnson’s company. It is great also, because it’s a good news to all the consumer by this product.
