Four Reasons Why You Should Be at WFCT in Baltimore

With the International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off coming up next week in Baltimore, I wanted to take a moment to list out four reasons why you should be attending. By the way, there is still time if you want to come. On-site registration is available! Visit the website at: to find out more.

But if you still need convincing, here you go!

  1. You can get to know your suppliers.

This annual event gives you an opportunity to interact with your suppliers in a much more intimate setting than what is possible at shows like SEMA. While SEMA is a great show, there is so much going on that people have very little time to see all they want to see. WFCT is a tightly focused show that includes the major automotive and architectural window film suppliers without the distraction of thousands of ancillary types of products. It is the only event that focuses on architectural tinting at all.  You can really get to know the companies from which you are buying and form better relationships with these suppliers.

  1. There are educational seminars that are specific to our industry.

Because WFCT is focused on the window film industry, the educational sessions are geared toward helping you understand products, trends and business practices that directly relate to your business.

  1. You can pick up some tips by watching the best.

The Tint-Offs allow all attendees to watch the installation techniques of some of the finest installers from around the world. I challenge installers to pay close attention to the other installers at this event. It’s likely you will come away with at least one new idea or technique from what you witnessed.

  1. It’s a great networking opportunity.

I always say about any event like this that it’s possible the attendees will learn more from each other than the many presentations throughout the week. This event gives you an opportunity to make new friends in the business and share information about best practices, installation techniques, marketing strategies that have worked, etc. Relationships built at events like these often lead to lifelong friendships with others that can relate to your business and provide a wealth of ideas, support and encouragement through the years.

I hope that those four reasons give you reason to reconsider attending WFCT if you are not already registered. Don’t miss my seminar on Thursday morning about two practical ways you can use social media to have an immediate impact on your business. It’s going to be a great week and I hope to see you there!
