World’s Best Tinters Recognized
October 9th, 2014 by BryanThe world’s best tinters were announced tonight at the 2014 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™’s Gala Awards Reception and Ceremony.
Chris Peterson of D&L Window Tinting in White Marsh, Md., took first place in the Automotive Division, with Yohan Kim of 1Day Auto Tinting in Huntsville, Ala., in second and Beyeong-Yeol Park of of Korea-Tinters.com in Gwang-ju, Korea, in third. Peterson was awarded a winning prize of $10,000.
Les Helton of Performance Window Tinting Inc. in Carrollton, Ga., was named first place in the Architectural Division. Donnie Burris of Pro-Tint in Salisbury, N.C., followed in second place, and Randy Humphries of Tint King Inc. in Billerica, Mass., was named third. Helton won $5,000 for the first-place win.
Lastly, Jose Julio with Protective Solutions in Holliston, Mass., took first in the new Paint Protection Division competition. Ron Talley of Midwest Tinting in Overland Park, Kan., took second, and Rick Kozlow of A Window Solutions in Land O Lakes, Fla., took third in the paint protection film competition’s inaugural year. Julio also won $5,000.
