Ellen Rogers Wins Award for Extraordinary Service to Key Communications
December 17th, 2014 by EditorEllen G. Rogers, editor of USGlass magazine, sister publication to Window Film magazine, has been recognized by the magazine’s parent company, Key Communications Inc., through its presentation of its Award for Extraordinary Service. The award is presented annually and was named after vice president for media services Holly X. Biller who has been with Key Communications for 19 years, and epitomizes the definition of extraordinary.

Rogers was presented the award on December 13 at the company’s annual Christmas party by Tara Taffera, vice president of editorial services.
“Ellen deserves this award for so many reasons,” says Taffera. “She has excelled this year on a variety of levels. First, she never misses a deadline, which is most impressive considering she writes and edits for a monthly magazine. She has also improved in our video newscasts, and in all areas, she continually brings new ideas and fresh approaches.”
“I am honored to have been selected for this award and to be among the previous recipients, as they have all set the bar in their respective areas of focus,” says Rogers. “I am very grateful for my publisher, Deb Levy, for giving me an opportunity to do what I love, which is writing and editing, and also for my editorial director, Tara Taffera, for encouraging and supporting me. It is a privilege to be a part of this company and I am excited to see what we are able to do together as a great team in 2015 and beyond.”
