Johnson Window Films Returns to Sponsor WFCT 2015

Johnson Window Films, a manufacturer of advanced laminates, has signed on to be a Sponsor of the 2015 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT). The event is set to be held September 30 – October 2 at the award-winning Atlantis Casino Resort Spa and Reno-Sparks Convention Center and will include educational seminars, an exhibition hall and the attendee-favorite Tint-Off™ competitions.

During the conference, attendees will be able to take part in educational seminars by industry leaders and expert speakers, network on the show floor with window film and paint protection film manufacturers and suppliers, as well as view three Tint-Off divisions.

We spoke with Steve Chambers, vice president of sales and marketing, on what Johnson will be offering on the show floor.

WFM: What products and/or services will your company be displaying in its booth over this three-day show?

SC: In addition to our complete line of automotive films we will be showcasing our wide array of Architectural and security window films.  We’ll also be introducing Johnson Window Film University, which offers a complete window film training curriculum that includes extensive hands-on installation training in seven categories:  basic automotive, advanced automotive, automotive security, basic flat glass, advanced flat glass and security film and attachment systems.  In addition to the installation training we’re offering courses on sales and marketing designed to help dealers promote and grow their businesses. This will include courses like marketing your window film businesses, social media marketing, selling automotive window film and selling architectural window film.  Our goal is to provide dealers with the information and tools needed to be successful in this growing and competitive market.

WFM: What made you decide to Sponsor the 2015 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™?

SC: Johnson Window Films has been a supporter of Window Film magazine and the window film industry since the beginning and we want to continue that support.  This event is a key opportunity to connect with our current dealers and to network with prospective new partners. The dealers that take the time to attend and participate in this event are exactly the type of dealers we’re looking to add to our family.

WFM: Why is the show important to the window film industry?

SC: It creates a learning environment for all window film professionals whether they competing or spectating. Sharing information and installation techniques strengthens our industry and promotes growth.
