Give Potential Customers a Virtual Tour

Having and maintaining a successful business means you constantly have to look at ways to differentiate yourself from the competition. A lot of that has to do with your online presence—and Google just provided a new way to do that.

The search site launched its coolest feature for businesses yet, called Google Business View Tours. This adds a 360-degree panoramic tour to a business’ google listing, allowing web browsers to take an entire tour of your facility straight from the search results!

We just launched a 360 tour for AP Tinting done by our sister company, AP Media. Below, you can see on our Google Business Listing a new tab titled “see inside.”

When you click “see inside,” you can use the arrow to tour our facility!

What’s the Benefit?

Before we started, I read an article on a Google Business View trial in New York City for Restaurant Week where 55 percent of the restaurants had the 360 photo tours. Restaurants with the Business View Tours had higher engagement, better organic reach, and a higher click-through rate for reservations. When customers were surveyed, 84 percent of them said the virtual tour played a factor in their choice of restaurant.

This feature is an incredible tool for businesses in any industry, especially shops like us with a large garage and waiting room.

It was also really easy to do. Our team came in an hour early and knocked it out before our doors even opened for the day. Typically, shoots take one to two hours.

They say it takes six to ten days after your photo shoot for the tour to appear, but ours was up pretty quickly. If you want to check it out, click here and you can view our garage, production room, and waiting room.
