Experts have been hand-selected to speak on areas to help increase your knowledge and provide an unsurpassed experience for all in attendance.

Thursday, October 1 | 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. | B-B and B-C, Different Markets, Different Buyers

Residential customers have different needs and wants than businesses. B2C buyers follow a different buying process from business to business buyers. When your company serves both markets, how can you send the right message to each one? If your website, promotion and sales team try to reach two markets with a one-size-fits-all approach, you may be missing sales. This workshop provides ideas for using marketing tools that reach and meet the distinct needs of business to business and business to consumer customers and prospects.

Linda Irwin, founder of SeeComm Group, a consulting company that provides strategic planning and marketing consulting services for business and nonprofits. She is also a partner in 5280 Creative Group, a marketing service provider. Her expertise is developing business development plans built around customer needs and measurable results. Following 10 years of owning an educational supply business, Irwin was VP of sales for Scholastic Corporation, and led marketing departments at American Water Works Association and American Educational Products before creating her consulting business. Clients include Rockwell/Boeing, Regis University, Blue Star Recyclers, Qualtek Manufacturing, Asset One and others.
