Eastman Unveils New Elite Dealer Program Branding

February 26th, 2016 by Editor

Eastman revealed plans for its new elite dealer program branding and design during its annual Elite Dealer Conference today. The program, to be called “LLumar Select Pro,” has been in the works for a couple years and seeks to bring consumers and pro dealers closer together.

As vice president and general manager of Performance Films Travis Smith explains, it all ties together to make it easy for consumers to find these dealers. He says the program is geared toward the company’s Vista and FormulaOne dealers, which are being integrated into one program under the Llumar brand as opposed to traversing across three programs.

The rebranding includes a LLumar SelectPro logo with updated Vista and FormulaOne logos. The company says the clean lines of the modernized logos represent the performance and precision that consumers can expect from these products and the dealers who install them. New collateral, merchandising and packaging will incorporate the new logos.

“LLumar SelectPro Dealers are growth-oriented, loyal and committed to the long-term success of the elite dealer program,” says Smith. “We are investing in dealers who are committed to being the cornerstone for Eastman’s growth in North America, and of course, dealers who can best leverage our exclusive Vista and FormulaOne product lines.”

As Smith explained to WINDOW FILM magazine, his company is integrating FormulaOne and Vista dealers under the LLumar SelectPro Dealers format. “These are not new dealers,” he says, “but we’re enhancing the existing dealer base.”

So what will this mean for existing elite dealers that move into the new program? Many of the changes will involve modernization of their existing practices.

“We know the majority of consumers today do their research with mobile devices; it’s critical our (elite) dealers have a mobile friendly website,” says Darrell Reed, commercial director, North America. He adds that they expect almost all of the company’s elite dealers to fully align with this program.
However, current elite members do not automatically qualify for the new program. Smith says dealers will go through an evaluation process to ensure they meet the specified criteria. If they don’t–or ones that choose to not be a part of the program—those would hold status as standard Llumar authorized dealers instead.

The program is rolling out throughout 2016 and will be officially launched to consumers in 2017. Current elite dealers will be eligible to qualify as a LLumar SelectPro Dealer. Those who qualify will be named, “LLumar SelectPro Dealers.” LLumar SelectPro Dealers will remain the exclusive dealers of Vista™ and FormulaOne® products.
