Tint-Off™ Competitions Return for 2016

WFCT LOGOWindow Film magazine’s Tint-Off™ competitions return for their 16th year at the 2016 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT). The exhibition is set to be held October 5-7, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk and will include educational seminars, an exhibition hall, an all-new Closing Awards Concert and Party, as well as the attendee-favorite Tint-Off competitions.

Register to Compete

Interested competitors may register online to compete.  The registration deadline for competitors is August 5, and there is no onsite registration to compete. Competitor registration includes admission to all seminars, one ticket to the Closing Awards Concert and Party and access to the exhibition floor where the competitions will be held. The champions will be announced Friday evening, October 7, at the all-new Closing Awards Concert and Party featuring Jake Ward, which will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.

Prizes

Prizes for the 2016 winners have also been announced. For the Architectural Division, the first-place winner will receive the grand prize of $5,000, a gold medal and trophy, as well as bragging rights as the “World’s Best Architectural Window Film Tinter.” Second place will receive $1,000 as well as a silver medal, and the third-place winner will get $500 and a bronze medal.

Returning again for a third year after doubling in size in 2015, the first-place winner of the PPF Division will receive the grand prize of $5,000, a gold medal and trophy, as well as bragging rights as the “World’s Best Paint Protection Film Installer.” Second place will receive $1,000 as well as a silver medal, and the third-place winner will get $500 and a bronze medal.

The first-place winner for the Automotive Division will receive the grand prize of $10,000, a gold medal and trophy, as well as bragging rights as the “World’s Best Automotive Window Film Tinter.” Second place will receive $2,500 as well as a silver medal, and the third-place winner will get $1,000 and a bronze medal.
