“After working for two years to have Dr. Lushniak join us, we’re thrilled his schedule now permits him to speak with window tinters about the importance of protection from UV rays,” says Casey Flores, Window Film magazine editor and WFCT seminar coordinator. “I have no doubt attendees will benefit greatly from his presentation and will be fired up to fill the vital role they play in the prevention of skin cancer.”

Dr. Lushniak spent more than 27 years in the Public Health Service and recently joined the faculty at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

During his Wednesday keynote address, Dr. Lushniak will address general disease prevention then focus on skin cancer, highlighting UV protection through automotive glass.

Tinters were made aware of Dr. Lushniak when he issued his Call to Action to Prevent Skin Cancer, from which 9,000 people die annually. Several business owners responded, saying it’s another justification to have tint installed on a vehicle.
