Two New Events to Experience at WFCT 2017May 17th, 2017 by Editor
The International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT) continues to expand each year to enhance attendees’ enrichment and experience. This year, two new events are available to tempt attendees’ appetites for knowledge—an optional sightseeing tour of the gorgeous West Palm Beach, Fla., area, and a new competition to witness.
WFCT will be held October 4-6 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center and West Palm Beach Marriott in scenic West Palm Beach, Fla.
Take in the Sights
Do you want to see President Trump’s famous Palm Beach, Fla., getaway? Be sure to sign up for the optional Palm Beach Experience sightseeing tour as Mar-A-Lago is a part of this tour.
The narrated tour begins Tuesday, October 3 at 1:15 p.m. in the Hilton West Palm Beach lobby. The bus will start off on South Ocean Boulevard, one of the most scenic streets in Palm Beach with its rolling waves, coconut palm trees and architectural homes.
A key focal point of the tour will be Mar-A-Lago, currently owned by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Take in the Palm Beach architecture. One of the featured architects of the 1920s was Addison Mizner. He designed more than 50 villas and mansions, securing a lasting impression in the area’s architectural history. His work is a highlight of the tour.
The tour will also stop J.R. McLean’s estate, which was owned by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1980.
Estee Lauder’s estate, among several other turn-of-the-century homes, are also featured on the idyllic tour.
Other points of interest include: The Breakers Hotel, Bethesda-by-the-Sea Church, J.F. Kennedy’s Church, St. Edwards, Royal Palm Way, Flagler Museum, Harriet Himmel Theater, Society of the Four Arts and the famous Worth Avenue.
Registration for the tour is $45 per person. The tour will run from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3. Pickup will be at 1:15 p.m. at the Hilton West Palm Beach lobby. More information will be available soon at www.wfctevent.com.
The Inaugural CSR Competition
In many ways, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are the heart of a company. They are the first person a customer talks to and can make or break a company’s bottom line. They take calls, answer customer questions and schedule appointments. It’s time for their moment in the spotlight.
Don’t miss the inaugural CSR Competition to be held 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6. This first-ever CSR Competition will focus on auto glass company CSRs, but there are plans in the works to expand it to cover window film and paint protection film companies in the coming years.
One CSR finalist from each region will compete in the finals, earning the chance to win $2,500 and bragging rights as the “Best Customer Service Representative in the World” during Friday’s Closing Awards Party.
Listen in as judges ask basic price questions and put these CSRs through a test of their mettle. Watch and learn as CSRs stand up under the pressure of direct questions, some more difficult than others. The competition is focused on auto glass, but will expand in the future.
