September 13th, 2017 by Editor

The International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT) offers three exciting days of education, competitions and the opportunity to meet with top industry suppliers. On Thursday, Oct. 5, from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., during the International Window Film Association’s (IWFA) sponsored education day, WFCT attendees will get an overview on Energy Codes, Green Codes and HERS Ratings.

Building codes and regulations, utility incentive programs, new energy rating systems for homes and buildings! What do all these things mean for the future of the window film industry? This seminar will explain why it is important for window film to be recognized in the building code arena even if window film does not have to comply with certain codes. In addition, this seminar will offer a detailed description of the new and expanding Home Energy Rating System (HERS) and how it creates a whole new playing field for the promotion of window film products.
