Avery Dennison appointed Noam Assael as a director of the window film business unit. In this role, Assael will be responsible for implementing the ongoing work plans for the window films unit and for achieving the financial targets. Assael will replace Sergio Shmilovitch, who is now appointed as marketing and strategic business development director for global graphics and reflective solutions in Avery Dennison.

Assael joined the company in April 2017 as a senior marketing manager, and has been involved in the global development of marketing strategy and materials for window film since the launch under the Avery Dennison brand in 2017.

“Noam is the ideal person to lead the business,” said Bill Podojil, senior business director at Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “His marketing skills will be key to giving our customers easy access to an entirely new portfolio of solutions for both automotive and architectural applications. The automotive range is an excellent complement to our Supreme Wrapping Films, targeted toward the automotive restyling segment.”

Assael holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He will continue to be based in Hanita, Israel.
