Madico, Inc. Elects New Board

Madico, Inc. (Madico) announced it has elected new officers to its board of directors. The following changes are effective immediately:

  • Mark Fehlman resigned as one of the company’s directors to focus on the successful completion and startup of the new Pinellas Park facility.
  • Shuji Morikawa resigned as one of Madico’s directors due to his promotion to director, managing executive officer of Lintec Corporation.
  • Thomas Moye has been elected to the director and treasurer of the Madico Board. Moye has served for the last year as Madico’s chief financial officer and an officer of the company. His background includes more than 20 years of experience spanning over several global manufacturing companies. His early career began with “Big 4” accounting firms. He holds a BS in Accounting from Bob Jones University.
  • Tetsuyuki Utagawa has been elected to the position of director of Madico. Utagawa has been a part of Lintec Corporation for 31 years. He began his career in research ans development, transferred to business development roles within the Industrial Materials division, and has spent the last year supporting the VDI operation as an on-site member of the VDI board and active manager in the business. Utagawa graduated from Shibaura Institute of Technology with a BS in organic and synthetic chemistry.
  • Aya Killgo has been elected to the position of officer and secretary. Killgo currently serves as the executive link between Lintec and Madico. Her previous work experience includes assignments with the Apple iTunes/Apps Team Japan and prior to that EA Japan, where she contributed to more than 200 major video games. Killgo has a BS in architecture from the University of Tokyo with exchange studies at Columbia University, MIT, and the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Shawn Kitchell will retain his position as director and president of the board. Masa Oshima and Yas Nakata also retain their positions as directors of Madico, while Mika Yamaoka will continue to serve as the official auditor, and Jeffrey Plummer will continue to hold his position as an officer of the company and vice president of the board.
