Georgia Window Tinting Bill Advances

A Georgia bill, also referred to as HB 589, that set the fine of violating the state’s window tinting law at no more than $25 has advanced out of the House Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee. The Committee added language to the bill that prohibits the costs of prosecution and any other fees to be added to the fine for the misdemeanor violation of law.
