Arlon Introduces New Film in its Wrap Portfolio

The Arlon team recently introduced what it calls a performance evolution, in its cast wrap portfolio with the launch of SLX+ featuring FLITE Technology®.

SLX+ has an optimal initial tack with quick-flow characteristics for better anchoring of graphic panels, according to the company. The film’s adhesive system, according to Arlon, ensures the same quality of work in any temperature for installers. A complete vehicle wrap job can be achieved with SLX+ from start to fi nish, with just one roll. SLX+ is rated for use on surfaces such as stainless steel. The product is also rated for a 10-year (unprinted) durability and is compatible with all ink systems including, Eco-Solvent, Solvent, UV, and Latex.

Roland Camm Provide TrueVis

Roland DGA’s next-generation TrueVIS VG2 series offers a 54- and 64-inch wide-format eco-solvent inkjet printer/cutters. The series uses the company’s new specially formulated TR2 ink, available in three different confi gurations with CMYK, plus additional light cyan, light magenta, light black, white or orange.

Roland’s CAMM-1 GR series large-format cutters, available in54- and 64-inch model sizes, offer faster cutting at 58.5 in/s, with an increased down force of 600 gf. The pinch rollers adjust electronically and have 10 pressure settings to firmly grip the thinnest and thickest materials. The new GR series large format cutter integrates with Roland software and print devices, as well as other manufacturers’ software and printers.

The Roland CAMM-1 GS-24 desktop cutter has a redesigned cutting carriage and blade holder, and down force of up to 350 grams. Vehicle graphics, signs and decals, decorated apparel and specialty graphics can be cut with the GS-24 desktop cutter, which is backed by a three-year trouble-free warranty, the company says.

Strap In

Fusion Straps by Fusion Tint Tools are the latest twists on a childhood favorite. Silicone wrapped straps hold rolls of tint, vinyl and PPF so installers have easy access to the products. The company plans to introduce new versions of the straps, which it says have seen increasing interest. Corporate communication indicate reports of shops keeping a stack of Fusion Straps on their plotters, and users wrapping extension cords with them to hold tank hoses together.
