Charcoal Tint

LLumar IRX Series – Booth #704

The latest automotive window tint series from LLumar, a brand of Eastman Performance Films, will be on full display at this year’s WFCT. With concentrated infrared-blocking nanoceramic technology, the new IRX series increases heat-blocking performance and features a sleek charcoal shade with a wide range of VLTs for a factory match. Triple Threat

Madico – Booth #500

Madico’s putting the spotlight on three products. First up is Protekt by Madico Paint Protection Film (PPF), designed for exterior application on automotive paint surfaces. Madico describes it as self-healing with a top coat that is resistant to scratches, chemicals, stones, bugs, sand, salt, and discoloration. Protekt PPF can be used on RVs, ATVs, jet skis, boats, motorcycles, tractors and commercial vehicles.

If you’re looking for automotive film, one of Madico’s lines is Black Pearl Nano-Ceramic Automotive Film. The product uses advanced nano-ceramic technology to provide up to 87% infrared heat rejection. According to the company, It has excellent conformability, which makes installation easy. It is available in a range of visible light transmissions or shades and is a 1.5 mil premium grade film product.

For those in the safety and security industry, Madico offers SafetyShield films and proprietary Anchoring Restraint Systems that it touts as able to reduce the risk of death, personal injury, and property damage and loss caused by acts of terror, industrial explosions, or natural disasters. Self-Healing Impact Resistance

SunTek 72” PPF Ultra/PPF Ultra Defense – Booth #702

SunTek’s newest paint protection products—SunTek PPF Ultra and SunTek PPF Ultra Defense—will be showcased at this year’s WFCT. SunTek PPF Ultra is now available in a new 72-inch width. This product eliminates seams that were once unavoidable, according to the company. Additionally, it is an expansion for SunTek’s PPF Ultra line delivering the same film technologies including self-healing properties and proprietary HydroResist top coat and is backed by a ten-year manufacturer’s limited warranty.

Behind the Shield

Sharpline – Booth #806

Sharpline booth visitors will be able to get more information about DuraShield Titan, a next-generation paint protection film for professional use. Titan provides resistance to rock chips and road debris and delivers protection against stains and harsh enviromental hazards, according to the company. It blocks airborne and surface contaminants from discoloring the film and has self-healing properties. Titan PPF is ready to use right out of the box and is also covered by a ten-year limited warranty.

The company also offers SharpShield Liquid Windshield Protection, which uses chemistry to alter the physical structure of a windshield. The product chemically bonds to the glass to fill in the ridges, according to the company, which also says strengthens windshield and windows by 20%.

Wind it Up

Teel Plastics – Booth # 701

Teel Plastics Inc. is a manufacturer of tight tolerance plastic cores for processing automotive, flat glass and paint protection films. Teel’s capabilities include custom resin extrusion, co-extrusion, custom colors, clean room packaging and core taping to meet film winding requirements. Teel now also offers injection molded end plugs to be used in conjunction with extruded plastic cores.
