WFCT Prizes Increasing for the 2022 International Window Film Tint-Off and a New Competition Debuts Too
November 3rd, 2021 by Chris CollierTinters and installers start sharpening your skills. Everything is hotter in Texas, and now, so is the prize money for the 2022 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT) Sept. 14-16 in San Antonio.
Auto Tint-Off First Prize Doubles
An additional $23,500 in prize monies—and a new competition—have been added for WFCT 2022. The total purse for all competitions is now just under $100,000, with the most significant increase to the Automotive Tint-Off™, one of the most popular and competitive events. First prize will now be $20,000.
“We know how hard our competitors prepare for WFCT, and it was time to raise the stakes and increase the prize values for some of our Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners,” says Donna Stivers, competition coordinator. “We’ve also added a fourth competition in the decorative film category which will be unlike anything before. It’s designed to showcase the increasing creativity we’re seeing in the industry.”
