Solar Art Acquires Brower Tinting and Graphics of Seattle

Solar Art is a 2022 WINDOW FILM magazine Top Dealer.

Solar Art has made its third acquisition this year with Brower Tinting and Graphics of Seattle. Brower has a long history in the window film industry in the Northwest and was one of the first 3M window film dealers there 56 years ago.

“Solar Art has been competing with Brower ever since we entered the Seattle market in 2017,” says Solar Art CEO Matthew Darienzo. “They have been a great competitor for us, and we are excited to finally be on the same team driving business together in the Seattle market.”

Through the acquisition, Solar Art gains a printing facility and full graphics team to support its West Coast operations. The company now has 92 employees and seven locations and is a 2022 WINDOW FILM magazine Top Dealer in the $10 million-plus revenue category (featured in the upcoming September/October issue).

The company, which climbed to the $9 to $18 million revenue category in 2021, acquired Metro Tint in Phoenix and Amersol in Dallas this June. Both companies focus on commercial window film sales. This expanded Solar Art’s reach into new markets outside of the West Coast, where it has focused typically.

“We are continuing our expansion and acquisition plans,” adds Darienzo, who credits his company’s climb to hiring, training and motivating employees to reach their full potential. “Over the next three to five years, we would like locations in all major cities across the U.S.”
