Accent Distributing’s employee of the year Brad Carver.

3M distributor Accent Distributing recognized Brad Carver as its employee of the year for 2022. Carver has worked for Accent Distributing since its inception in 2009. Before joining the team at Accent, he worked in the insurance industry in Philadelphia.

At Accent Distributing, Carver wears many hats and does the job of several people, including:

• Serving as the director of operations—in this role, Carver oversees all orders, warehousing functions and inventory management. He has 12 people who report directly to him.

• Handling all IT tasks—he also oversees the management of all company computers, cell phones, tablets, servers, phone systems and internet connections. He also oversees all cloud services and data backups for the company.

• Overseeing all reporting and information—this includes providing monthly sales reports required by 3M, frequent reports to the sales department, information to accounting and reports to upper management and ownership.

Over the past two years, Carver made a significant impact to Accent Distributing operations, according to the company. The systems that he has put in place were used during the pandemic to allow people to work from home if needed.

“Brad is always the first in the office, usually in the early morning hours. He can be seen moving furniture, warehouse items and doing anything that needs to be done – many times before most people are out of bed,” says Shawn Cabral, Accent Distributing’s general manager. “Brad has made a difference at Accent Distributing. Congratulations, Brad, on receiving our inaugural employee of the year award.”
