The Latin American Meetup took place from January 31 to February 5 in Medellin, Colombia. It was organized by Polarizados Spectra. In addition to training and certifications, there were competitions as well. Some of the trainers for the event were Alexis Figueroa or ‘El Magic,’ owner of Magic Shade Window Tinting and Detailing in Fort Worth, Texas; Johnny ‘Blades’ Gonzalez of Texas Heat Tint in Huffman, Texas; and Jorgito Racing of Dark Mode in Chile.

There were 40 competitors, and the winner got an automatic competition registration for the International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT), which will take place September 20-23, 2023, in Virginia Beach. Javier Berdugo from Barranquilla, Colombia, won and received a spot in the Automotive Tint-Off™ Division at WFCT 2023.

I was able to attend the event, which was a fantastic opportunity to connect and meet new people in the Latin American community.
