2 Texas Proposes Security Window Film in Schools

Nineteen children and two adults were killed in a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde County, Texas, on May 24, 2022. In the aftermath, the Texas Education Agency proposed new school safety standards that include security film installations.

3 GM Awarded Patent For Auto-Dimming Windshield; Apple Granted Similar Patents

General Motors (GM) has been awarded a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a windshield capable of dimming when experiencing excessive glare from oncoming vehicles. In related news, Apple has been granted two new patents for Project Titan pertaining to “adjustable tinting windows.”
