June 12th, 2024 by Casey Flores

With just 100 days to go until the 2024 International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT), the time has come not just to book your flight, but plan your tip. This year brings a wave of first-time opportunities longtime attendees will find fresh and valuable. Here’s what’s new for 2024:

Wednesday Pre-Day: Visit Madico’s Plant!

Here’s your chance to see how window film is made and tour an actual manufacturing plant. Madico Inc. has graciously offered to host this tour that explains how window film is made. Our comfortable buses will depart from the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) at 8:30 a.m. for thev116 mile trip to Madico Inc. There, we will tour the plant, have lunch and have a question-and-answer session. Who knows, a surprise guest or two may appear. After lunch, we will return to the convention center. Thank you to Madico Inc. for sponsoring this educational event. Fee: $15 includes transportation both ways if needed, the tour, lunch and drinks.

Wednesday Night—Golf Range

Fore! Don’t miss this fun evening that directly benefits the nn-profit Tinters for a Cause. Join long-time friends (and some new ones) as we spend an evening for charity at Topgolf. Chip away for a few hours with friends for a good cause. Enjoy complimentary snacks and soft drinks (cash bar, too) in climate-controlled hitting bays at Topgolf Orlando. You do not have to be a pro to participate. All skill sets are welcome to support the not-forprofit group Tinters for a Cause. Fee: $89 includes food, soft drinks, three hours of play and prizes. A cash bar is also available. Please note: The event may reach capacity early. To ensure your spot, please pre-register. Topgolf is a 10-15 minute walk from the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) or a short Uber or Lyft ride.

Thursday Morning: Second Annual 3K Run

It was so much fun last year that we are making it a tradition; come walk, trot, or run in this charity race to benefit, Tinters for a Cause. Whether you’re an avid runner or just looking for a fun way to give back, we welcome all participants. When registering as an attendee, you can add this optional event for $69.

Saturday: Boot Camp Day

For the first time, WFCT is being held Thursday through Saturday, and what a Saturday is in store! Bring your entire team and take advantage of these great Boot Camps.

Financial Management Boot Camp

This not-to-be-missed camp, explicitly designed for owners and key managers of shops, is led by noted financial teacher Justin Krane. You’ll learn how to read and understand your company’s books, watch key measures, plan for growth, deal with banks, and so much more. PLUS: You can sign up for a private consultation with Justin in the afternoon, during which he will review your books with you. So bring your financials or load your QuickBooks on a thumb drive. You will gain much from the session—in so many ways.

Windshield Repair Boot Camp

Learn the proper way to do repairs and where they can be done, including how ADAS cameras affect where you can repair. This camp includes NWRD training and a free pass to take the National Windshield Repair Division (NWRD) Certification Test.

Plus you will see the competition finals and get to take advantage of tons of demonstration and hands-on applications.
